Versatile and progressive, the Cross Kites Pro Hornet is designed to support both first sessions and progression toward more refined piloting, while retaining the DNA that made the model historically successful.

In snowkite, buggy, or mountainboard, the Hornet delivers the same sensations: immediate handling, flight stability that reassures, and construction built to withstand crashes without breaking down.

Piloted with 4-line handles, each hand acts independently: direct access to front and rear lines for steering, braking, repositioning the wing, and precisely controlling power. This is the most complete way to pilot it, particularly useful in buggy or on board when you're not seeking maximum traction at all costs. On longer sessions, a harness line or backstrap relieves arm fatigue.

This piloting precision also stems from the bridle construction: an A, B, C and brake arrangement distributes load across the entire sail line, so the brakes actually shape the profile rather than simply pulling the trailing edge. A thoughtful profile completes the system, maintaining controlled flight shape while preserving the stability that made the Hornet's reputation. Result: small adjustments on the rear lines are enough to vary traction and wing position in the wind window, for true driving control rather than simple directional piloting.

The sail itself uses a light 40D nylon shell, lined with 70D polyester internal profiles to handle loads. The low-stretch Dyneema bridle and Dyneema SK75 flight lines are both finished with stitching for clean and reliable long-term connection. Mesh air intakes protect the leading edge, while an internal channel directs sand toward the tips for easy cleaning.

Delivered complete with its handles, the Hornet is ready to fly straight out of the bag - and ready to follow the user through their entire progression.
