The HQ Hydra II is a bar-mounted 3-line kite that can go in the water thanks to its closed cells.

In the 3-line trainer kite range, the HQ Hydra II is a model of choice alongside the Peter Lynn Impulse. It stands out as one of the only beginner kites (along with the Peter Lynn SKIM) that can fall into the water and take off again. Although the Hydra is available in sizes that don't allow an adult to take the plunge into kitesurf, it is still available in 3.5 and 4.2, ideal sizes for learning. To continue the experience, the Hydra can also be used from a floating craft such as a kayak or Stand Up Paddle.

Petit retour après quelques temps (années!) d'utilisation de l'hydra 2 (ancienne déco) ; on ne fait pas mieux en termes de progressivité et de stabilité : elle développe très bien tout en étant jamais brutale, de plus, elle ne se referme jamais en bord de fenetre...jamais, on a beau tirer, tirer, tirer au max, ça bronche pas. Utilisation en kite terrestre, super. Petit plus pour les caissons fermés, marrant en paddle! Bref, aile douce mais quand même suffisamment puissante, super stable et finalement très polyvalente
Joli produit
Produit bien fini aux matériaux plutôt qualitatifs. Mon choix s'est porté sur la 4,5 m2 (dénommée 4,2) au vu de mon poids.Je ne l'ai pas encore essayé sur un paddle mais elle offre une traction douce, sans surprises.
Par contre, placée au zénith, je sens une légère différence de tension dans les lignes et cela se ressent dans les courbes plus efficaces du côté gauche que droit. Les bouts, lignes, noeuds sont parfaitement symétriques pourtant. Bizarre.
Un produit atypique très plaisant. Reste a m'amuser dans l'eau avec et tirer des bords.

Bon produit pour une utilisation avec stand up paddle
Livraison en 48 h. Au déballage, on voit que cette voile de traction est bien finie. Sac de transport pratique. L aile vole bien et le redecollage dans l eau fonctionne. Très sympathique pour se faire tracter sur un sup.
