MBS Truck MATRIX III - Black - 400 mm
The arrival of a new truck is always an event. All the more so when it's the latest version of a reference for those who want sturdy mountainboard trucks for freestyle, kite and electric. The Truck MBS Matrix III erases the shortcomings of its predecessor thanks to 7 years of feedback from riders all over the world. And the least we can say is that it piles up the superlatives: more robust, more stable and more responsive. But how is this possible?
Customizable hardness
MBS innovates by offering the possibility of modifying the position of the ShockBlock rubbers to benefit from either greater stability or better handling. For the occasion, the Shockblocks have been redesigned with a new shape and a new rubber formula, available in 3 hardnesses. The result is a truck that turns more precisely, easily adapting to lighter gauges, or conversely, an extremely stable truck for heavier gauges, even at high speeds.
Not least, for all spring-loaded channel truck owners, the tires are extremely easy to change, as you can see in this video:
Fixed Kingpin and customizable truck widths
The Kingpin has also been redesigned to eliminate metal-on-metal friction and increase strength. The Kingpin is also totally fixed and (almost) non-removable, once again improving precision by eliminating the play that existed between the axle, bearings and Kingpin rubber.
The Hanger (square) and axle are still Hollow, hollow on the inside to save weight. Hangers are interchangeable with the 320mm version.
Big news: the 50mm axles can also be unscrewed and replaced by the 70mm version (sold separately) for added stability!
