The Cross Kites Pro Hype Play is a 2-line traction kite piloted with "straps" handles, simple and direct, with very little intermediary between the pilot and the wing. It's the ideal wing for anyone who wants to discover the joys of powerkite as a family, at any age.

It is available in five sizes: 1.3, 1.6, 1.9, 2.2, and 2.5, with consistent spacing between each size to choose your wing well according to the pilot and conditions. Each size is designed individually rather than simply scaled from a single shape: the number of cells increases by steps in the range, which keeps the smaller sizes light and simple, while the larger sizes maintain a clean sail shape even under greater loads.

The 1.3 is particularly suitable for young pilots or light builds, remaining manageable in most conditions while turning quickly and sharply in stronger winds. Enough to amuse even more experienced pilots. Moving up the range, the larger sizes generate more traction for more physical practice: the 2.2 and 2.5 develop real power in a strong breeze, while maintaining the predictable handling that gives the Hype its reputation.

The impeccable construction and finish of this product make it one of the 2-line wings with the best flight characteristics on the market. The sail combines a light 40D nylon shell with more resistant 70D polyester internal profiles, with low-elongation Dyneema bridles and Dyneema flight lines, sewn terminations for a clean and consistent connection. The "straps" handles are padded for comfort, with reinforced padding on the largest size, where loads increase.

Very simple to use, the Hype Play is delivered in its "ready to fly" bag, with lines and handles connected. Gentle, stable, and particularly easy to relift, it is one of Powerkiter's favorite finds for its accessibility, durability, and flight qualities.
